25 cats just arrived at the Montreal SPCA. We need your help to get through the crisis.
Yesterday morning, a team from the Montreal SPCA retrieved 25 cats living in unsanitary conditions in a housing unit. This emergency rescue was pursuant to a court decision. In these difficult times, we must double our efforts to give these animals every chance for a better life. Please help us by donating now to provide these cats with the urgent care they need.
Please, support our veterinary team. They are working so very hard, during the pandemic.
The 25 cats’ arrival at the shelter shows how animals’ needs never take a break and how our team continues to respond, despite the circumstances. We need your support to be able to face unforeseen situations.
Many tooth extractions needed
Many of these cats are seniors and very underweight. When they arrived, some were in such bad shape our veterinary team had no other choice but to put an immediate end to their suffering. Others have serious and painful dental issues, requiring emergency extractions. These long and complex procedures must be performed under general anaesthesia and require the use of sophisticated instruments, like a dental X-ray machine.
They need you.
With the well-being of every animal at heart, our dedicated team continues to invest all their energy into the health of the most vulnerable animals, even during tough times, like those we are experiencing now. Please show your support by making a donation or by becoming a monthly donor today.
Thank you for your generosity towards animals!
