A New Rescue Animal Game Launched Today
Montréal, August 24, 2023 – Today, the famous actor Jean-Claude Van Damme and France-based AwareCorp Studios, in partnership with the Montreal SPCA, announced the release of VAN DAMME – Dawn of the Chihuahuas, a new game for mobile devices.
In this adventure game, you must rescue dogs from the clutches of an evil alien by bringing them to an animal shelter, which is a doggy theme park!
But that’s not all! By simply playing Dawn of the Chihuahuas, gamers raise funds that will be donated to various animal rescue organizations around the world.
In Canada, the Montreal SPCA will receive these funds!
This innovative way of raising funds for our organization is the result of over a year’s collaboration between the Montreal SPCA, AwareCorp Studios and Jean-Claude Van Damme. The game’s amusement-park-like animal shelter was even inspired by what the designer saw during their visit to the Montreal SPCA, wandering through our maze of ramps, floors and animal areas!
