Montreal, July 28 2015 – The Montreal SPCA will hold its second annual Beasts of Fashion fundraising gala on November 5th, 2015, at the Theatre Paradoxe. The goal is to raise $200,000 in order to help the Montreal SPCA continue its important mission to care and advocate for the animals of our community.
This year’s Beasts of Fashion event theme will take a decadent detour into sweet new territory with “Love & Chocolate”. With the goal of treating our supporters to an unforgettable gala experience, those with a taste for decadence will enjoy a never-ending parade of heavenly chocolate, pastry and savory delicacies, intended to satisfy the senses, while warming the heart. Our guests will also admire our precocious pooches as they strut their stuff in their usual grand style. And of course, many other sweet surprises will be served up throughout the evening!
Beyond Love & Chocolate, the evening promises a flurry of furry festivities including lots of fun, entertainment and appearances by special V.I.P guests, such as renowned Montreal jazz artists, Bet.e and Stef, and Quebec television stars Anne-France Goldwater and Maripier Morin. “As an animal lover, I am delighted to be associated with the Montreal SPCA for its second Beasts of Fashion fundraising gala”, says Maripier Morin. “With last year’s success, 2015 is guaranteed to be a sure hit – I invite all those who share my passion for animals to participate in order to benefit the Montreal SPCA”, she adds.
