By becoming a member of the Montreal SPCA, you will be able to attend and vote at the organization’s member meetings. You will receive a tax receipt once your yearly membership dues have been paid. We look forward to having you among us!
Four categories of members
1 – Regular member
Individuals, businesses or associations who have filled out an application for membership and paid their dues by the deadline for regular members set by the board of directors. A regular member may be summoned to, attend and vote at all member meetings.
Annual membership fee
Pay the $40 membership fee
2 – Senior member
Individuals 60 years of age or older who have filled out an application for membership and have paid their dues by the deadline for senior members set by the board of directors. A senior member may be summoned to, attend and vote at all member meetings.

3 – Volunteer member
Individuals at least 18 years of age who actively participate in the Montreal SPCA’s volunteer program and who have filled out an application for membership and paid their dues by the deadline for volunteer members set by the board of directors. A volunteer member may be summoned to, attend and vote at all member meetings.

4 – Animal member
Non-human individuals on behalf of whom a human has filled out an application for membership and paid the dues by the deadline for animal members set by the board of directors. Animal members (and/or their representatives) are not summoned to the SPCA’s member meetings, and may neither attend nor vote.
