Your gift will be doubled!
With just a few weeks to go before the end of the year, we already know that 2024 will have been noteworthy for its record number of admissions to the shelter, an unfortunate trend that began three years ago. From January to September, nearly 10,500 live animals passed through our doors. Our teams are working around the clock!
Fortunately, we can count on the generosity of compassionate people like you to defend and protect vulnerable animals. And to add a touch of magic, the Bryant-Mapes Fund is committing to doubling the value of your gifts* until December 31, 2024!
Don’t miss this opportunity to double your impact for animals!
*Up to $90,000.
WHAT IS THE BRYANT-MAPES FUND?
The Fund was created by two dog lovers, Floranna Bryant and Dorothy Mapes, who named the Montreal SPCA as a beneficiary in their wills. The SPCA is infinitely grateful to people, like Ms. Bryant and Ms. Mapes, who include animals in their legacy.A SECOND CHANCE FOR KENZO AND PHOENIX
When he arrived at the shelter, Kenzo was a 9-month-old four-legged tornado. At almost the same time, we took in Phoenix, a female dog of about the same size and energy. Our staff organized play sessions that helped Kenzo and Phoenix bond, fulfill their need to be active and relax together. They were lucky: a family decided to adopt both so as not to separate the friends!
Unfortunately, we recently learned that a member of Kenzo and Phoenix’s family has developed a severe allergy. So, we have to roll up our sleeves and find these sweethearts a new home. That’s why your support is so valuable to us: our work is never done and we don’t want to leave anyone behind.
